arming is an integral part of the Palworld experience. The process allows you and your Pals to consistently generate food for consumption, keeping everyone alive and healthy. Here’s the catch, though: you need Seeds to start a Farm. This means you need to find them. Fortunately, we’ve got you covered.
This guide will cover everything you need to know about the Wheat Seeds Palworld has to offer, including which Pals drop Wheat Seeds, the closest spot from the starting area to find Wheat Seeds, and how to command your Pals to produce Wheat once you find Wheat Seeds.
Let’s get into it.
What Are Wheat Seeds In Palworld?
Wheat Seeds in Palworld allow you to build the Wheat Plantation structure. Once built, you can use Wheat Seeds with the structure to grow Wheat for you and your base.

What Is Wheat In Palworld?
You and your Pals can eat Wheat to satiate your hunger, or you can convert it to Flour with a Mill.

Flour is used in the following recipes:
- Bread – A common piece of Bread that satiates hunger for you and your Pals.
- Cake – Cake is vital if you plan on breeding Pals.
- Carbonara – A delicious Pasta dish. It also improves your defensive abilities.
- Fried Chikipi – A fried version of the Chicken-like Pal. Looks like Chicken Nuggets. Increases a Pal’s work speed.
- Fried Kelpsea – A fried version of a Kelpsea. Increases defensive abilities and slows Sanity drop, making everyone happy!
- Jam-filled Bun – Bread with Jelly on top. What’s not to like?
- Mozzarina Cheeseburger – A Burger with Cheese. Increase attack abilities and keeps its customer full for a longer period of time than many other food items.
- Mozzarina Hamburger – A Burger without Cheese. Increases work speed and slows Sanity drop. Valuable!
- Pancake – A classic breakfast item. Perfect with Butter and Syrup on top.
- Pizza – This item satisfies a good amount of hunger. It’s Pizza, after all! You can also find it as a drop while exploring the island of Sakurajima.
- Rushoar Hot Dog – A Hot Dog made from the Rushoar Pal. It increases your defensive abilities, similar to the Carbonara.
To build a Mill, unlock it at Technology Tree level 15 by spending two points. Then, gather 50 Wood and 40 Stone, enter the build menu, and place it down.

Interact with the Mill, place some Wheat into it, and have a Pal with the Watering Work Suitability roaming your base. The Pal will walk over to it and process the Wheat into Flour. Then, you can grab it from the device.

How To Find Wheat Seeds In Palworld
There are a few ways to find Wheat Seeds in Palworld.
You can buy them from Wandering Merchants in various areas around the world. Wandering Merchants are shopkeepers that sell all sorts of items, including Wheat Seeds. If you’re looking for a Wandering Merchant early on, you can find one at the Small Settlement.
The Small Settlement Fast Travel point is located northwest of the starting area, at coordinates 74, -484.

Wheat Seeds sell for 100 Gold, so make sure to explore a bit and gather some funds before visiting a Wandering Merchant.

Otherwise, you acquire Wheat Seeds by capturing or defeating the following Pals:
- Bristla
- Cinnamoth
- Dinossom
- Flopie
- Robinquill
- Robinquill Terra

These Grass type Pals will drop Wheat Seeds most of the time. You can also use a Meat Cleaver to butcher any of these Pals roaming around your base.
How To Use Wheat Seeds in Palworld
Now that you’ve acquired Wheat Seeds in Palworld, it’s time to learn how to use them.
We’ve already mentioned the Wheat Plantation structure earlier in this article, but here’s how to build it.
You must first acquire three Wheat Seeds, 35 Wood, and 35 Stone. Then, you have to unlock the Wheat Plantation recipe by reaching tier 15 in the Technology Tree and purchasing it with two Technology Points.

After you place the structure, you’ll need Pals with three different Work Suitabilities — Gathering, Watering, and Planting.
Planting
The Planting Work Suitability is represented by a green seed. It identifies a Pal who can plant seeds at a Plantation. Pals with a high level of Planting Work Suitability include:
- Lyleen
- Broncherry
- Petallia
- Prunelia
- Mossanda

Watering
A Watering Can represents Pals who will water crops as well as water some of the structures that require it, such as the Mill. Pals who carry a high level Watering Work Suitability are:
- Jormuntide
- Faleris Aqua
- Elphidran Aqua
- Azurobe
- Broncherry Aqua

Gathering
Represented by a set of leaves, the Gathering Work Suitability denotes Pals who can collect the produce from a Farm. Certain Pals with a high level of the Gathering Work Suitability include:
- Frostallion Noct
- Verdash
- Jetdragon
- Knocklem
- Nitewing
- Galeclaw

Transporting
Transporting isn’t a required Work Suitability skill for you to have a successful Wheat Plantation, but it’s nice to have. Palworld represents the Transporting ability with a cardboard box. Pals with this skill will carry resources to and from Plantations or Storage Units, allowing the Watering, Planting, and Gathering Pals to continue working on the Farm.
Pals with higher levels of the Transporting Work Suitability ability include:
- Wumpo
- Wumpo Botan
- Knocklem
- Mossanda
- Mossanda Lux

From here, Pals roaming around your base with these Work Suitability abilities will maintain the Plantations of Wheat, creating you an endless supply of the resource.
