How do I Mine and Use Copper?

Finding and Mining Copper

Copper is usually found underground, but not too deep underground. You can find it on y-levels 0 to 96.

Find an area you’d like to mine, such as the ground beneath you, but it helps if you have a separate location to mine, such as visiting a mountainous area or a cave.

You’ll need to carry with you at least a Stone Pickaxe to mine the Copper more efficiently. Also bring some food, a Chest, Torches, and even a Furnace to smelt your Copper.
