Believe it or not, Pals in Palworld aren’t always happy. If you have them working a lot, which is an inevitable in this game, their Sanity (SAN) stat is sure to go down. Sanity represents a Pal’s happiness and affects their work efficiency if it’s down. This is why it’s vital to keep that stat up using medical supplies.
That said, some medical supplies, like the High Grade Medical Supplies, can only heal specific ailments. These are expensive to craft, making it difficult to stay on top of which meds you need and which you don’t. Fortunately, there’s a solution to this in Mind Control Meds.
This guide will cover everything you need to know about Mind Control Meds, including how to make the Meds, why they’re better than High Grade Medical Supplies, and how to use Mind Control Meds, amongst other information.
What Are Mind Control Meds Palworld?
Mind Control Meds in Palworld are arguably the most powerful Medicine type. These medical supplies don’t heal health, but they can heal any status ailments a Pal may be suffering from while refilling their Sanity back to 100%.

Status ailments are important to heal as they limit your Pal’s ability to be effective. Here’s a list of status ailments in Palworld:
- Cold: Lowers your Pal’s work speed by 10 points.
- Depressed: Lowers your Pal’s work speed by 30 and their movement speed by 20.
- Fracture: Lowers your Pal’s work speed by 10 and their movement speed by 20.
- Overfull: This ailment means your Pal’s hunger will decrease much faster than normal, causing them to eat a lot more over time.
- Sprain: Lowers your Pal’s movement speed by 10.
- Ulcer: Lowers your Pal’s work speed by 20 and their movement speed by 10.
- Weakened: Lowers your Pal’s work speed by 20 and movement speed by 30.
Once you obtain Mind Control Meds, rest assured that your Pals will be in the most excellent state of health.
How To Make Palworld Mind Control Meds?
These medical supplies are not cheap, as the crafting process demands 10 Refined Ingots, 10 Horns, five Bones, and three vials of Pal Fluids. Not only this, but you must craft an Electric Medicine Workbench to even craft Mind Control Meds.
You can access the Electric Medicine Workbench structure by reaching level 43 on the Technology Tree and spending three Technology Points on the recipe.

This Workbench requires 40 Refined Ingots, 10 Circuit Boards, and 20 Carbon Fiber to craft. It’s not cheap either, but the results are worth the price — especially if you care about your dissidents’ Sanity.

That said, you also need to power the Workbench. Powering the Workbench requires either a Human-Powered Generator, a Power Generator, or a Large Power Generator.
Human-Powered Generator
Unlock the Human-Powered Generator at level 13 in the Technology Tree for one Technology Point. Then, you can craft it with 50 Wood and 5 Electric Organs. Unfortunately, this barely generates any power, so you’ll want to upgrade as soon as you can.

Power Generator
Unlock the Power Generator at level 26 in the Technology Tree with three Technology Points. This Power Generator doesn’t require any input from your dissidents, and provides a good level of electricity to power a fair amount of electric structures.

Build the Power Generator with 50 Ingots and 20 Electric Organs.
Large Power Generator
Unlock the Large Power Generator at level 49 in the Technology Tree for four Ancient Technology Points. These points are much harder to gather, requiring you to defeat bosses or complete other monumental tasks in the game.

The Large Power Generator costs a whopping 200 Pal Metal Ingots alongside 200 Electric Organs, but it provides a massive amount of power to your base.
With any of these Power Generators in place, you can power the Electric Workbench and produce the Mind Control Meds to cure your Pals.
However, you can’t produce the Meds yourself. Instead, you need a Pal that has the Medicine Production Work Suitability.

Represented by the Mortar and Pestle, Pals with the Medicine Production Work Suitability can create Medical Supplies at the various Medical Workbenches.
Work Suitability skills come in levels 0-4, with higher levels marking Pals that are more efficient in that particular skill. In this case, higher-level Medicine Production Pals produce Medicine at a much faster rate, which is key for Mind Control Meds as these can take a while to produce.
Here are some Pals with a high-level Medicine Production Work Suitability:
- Bellanoir
- Bellanoir Libero
- Vaelet
- Felbat
- Lyleen
Sadly, this Work Suitability doesn’t do much else, so it’s important to rotate out these Pals if you’re not currently working on any Medicine to free up space for other skills.
How To Use Mind Control Meds In Palworld?
Once you’ve acquired the Mind Control Meds in Palworld, it’s time to feed them to your Pals. To do this, place the Mind Control Meds in your inventory, then walk up to a Pal and press the 4 key.
This will open a radial menu. Select the Feed option.

Next, a menu will appear with everything in your inventory that you can feed to Pals. Select the Mind Control Meds, and your character will feed them to the Pal.

Once the animation is complete, any status ailments your Pal was suffering from will go away.
Now, keep an eye out on your Pals, as lower Sanity will result in more ailments affecting them. Keeping their Sanity high with items like the Hot Springs will prevent them from needing Mind Control Meds in the future. That said, it’s always good to have a few sets on hand in case of emergency.

Managing a base full of Pals is hard work. While it’s certainly possible, controlling dissidents with others around is an extremely effective alternative. With that in mind, why not try playing Palworld with your friends?
