Buying domains in 2017 isn’t near as much fun as it was in 1997!
Or is it?
It’s a known fact that many of the premium .com domain names have long been registered by veteran domainers and large corporations looking to make thousands re-selling names to individuals.
I can personally vouch for this as I paid nearly $7,000 for NameHero.com and have spent thousands on other premium domains for my companies over the last 20 years.
However, there is a little secret I’ve been using over the years to obtain premium domain names that have just recently been deleted. I decided to film a video tutorial showing how I find and invest in good domains:
How To Find Premium Domains
Personally, I feel like this technique brings back the “fun” in domain buying. The only “bad” thing about it – I probably spend a lot more on domains than I’d like, but I have built up a pretty nice portfolio over the years doing this.
I feel like pronounceable, brandable, and spellable .com domains are like real estate and are only going to go up in value. I look forward to leaving my son a fairly large portfolio, that hopefully will secure his financial future.
Remember to use our Instant Domain Search engine when looking at domains as it’s the fastest way online to know if your domain is available or not. We also have our exclusive WhoisHero Privacy Protection that will protect you from email, phone, and mail spammers!
If you pick-up some good names, feel free to share them in the comments below! Good luck!
