When developing Palworld, Pocket Pair tried to be considerate of the player’s time. Sure, much of the game involves exploring to gather resources so you can focus on building structures or creating weapons, but did you know there are ways to automate resource gathering?
That’s right. Through the use of a Ranch, you can put Pals to work and have them create resources for you. Of course, this process involves finding the right Ranch Pals for whichever Ranch drops you’re looking for. Fortunately, we’ve got you covered.
This guide details all the Ranch drops in Palworld, including which Ranch Pals are best for you to gather. This way, you won’t be frantically wasting Pal Spheres trying to find the best creature to drop items. Let’s get into it.
What Is The Ranch In Palworld?
The Ranch in Palworld is a structure that allows you to farm various items depending on the Pal you assign to it. To build a Ranch, you must first reach Tier 5 in the Technology Tree and unlock it for two points.

From there, you can build the Ranch with 50 Wood, 20 Stone, and 30 Fiber. Once it’s built, you can have specific Pals work there to produce a diverse range of resources.

Ranch Pals
Unfortunately, you can’t just assign any Pal to the Ranch. Instead, there are a set number of Pals that will produce items. You can tell which Pals are able to farm by seeing if they have a Farming work suitability while examining them.
We’ll make sure to list each Pal and what they produce in the next section.
Palworld Ranch Drops
Let’s get into the top Palworld Ranch drops.
Wool
Wool is a low level crafting material that leads into more useful items like Cloth, which is an important item that leads to various Armors or Pal Saddles. As a result, it’s one of those materials you’ll want to obtain a lot of. That’s not hard to do, thanks to the Ranch.

The Lamball, Cremis, or Melpaca Pals can farm Wool at a Palworld Ranch.

Milk
Milk isn’t super high on the important resources produced by the Ranch, but it is nice if you’re into cooking items like Cake or Mushroom Soup. You can also drink it by itself to restore some HP — always a nice feature.

If you’re looking for Milk as one of your Ranch drops, you must assign a Mozzarina.

Mozzarina is a cow-like Pal that produces Milk if you catch or defeat it. Its only work suitability skill is Farming.
Egg
Much like Milk, the Egg is a material that’s only important in a few cooking recipes. It’s an important part of Cake, but it can also be used in an Omelet, Bacon ‘n’ Eggs, and in the Fried Egg recipe.

If you’d like to make Eggs in bulk, assign a Chikipi to the Ranch.

Red Berries
Red Berries are an incredibly common ingredient in Palworld. You can find these items all around the world, and they’re a relevant part of quite a few recipes, such as Baked Berries or Cake.

While we don’t necessarily recommend producing these at a Ranch, you can use a Caprity if you’d like to anyways.

Flame Organ
Flame Organs are very important for any fire-related items. This includes Heat Resistant Armor, saddles for Fire-based Pals, and a few structures like the Electric Heater or the Cooking Pot. It’s an item that drops from most Fire-based Pals upon defeat or capture, but ideally, you’d assign one to a Ranch to produce the resources instead.

Either a Flambelle or a Kelpsea Ignis will work.

Bone
The Bone is one of Palworld’s more vital materials, playing a part in Cement alongside the game’s many Medicines and Juices. As a result, you’ll probably want Bones as one of your Ranch drops in Palworld.

Assign a Sootseer to your Ranch to produce Bones.

High Quality Pal Oil
High Quality Pal Oil is hard to find out in the open. Of course, defeating or capturing certain Pals will reward the item, but it’s usually better to farm it. That way, you can create legendary weapons, useful resources like Polymer, and even some permanent stat increase items like Elixirs.

Assign a Dumud to your Ranch to produce High Quality Pal Oil.

Pal Sphere
Pal Spheres are a vital part of the Palworld experience, as they allow you to, well, capture Pals.
Farming Pal Spheres is a bit more complex than the normal farming process, requiring you to deploy a Vixy to your Ranch.
Initially, Vixy will generate either a Pal Sphere, an Arrow, 10 Gold Coins, or one Bone. However, using the Pal Essence Condenser, you can upgrade Vixy’s Partner Skill to generate better rewards.
The Pal Essence Condenser allows you to upgrade a Pal’s stats by sacrificing a number of Pals of the same type.
You can level Vixy’s Partner Skill, Dig Here!, up to level five. This will allow it to start farming Giga Spheres, Hyper Spheres, 50 Gold Coins instead of ten, and more.
Honey
Honey has two primary uses: consumption and as part of a Cake recipe. The latter is especially important when it comes to breeding, so you might want to focus on Honey for a bit to create a stash of it.

Place a Beegarde in your Ranch for Honey purposes.

Pal Fluids
Pal Fluids are a core ingredient in most of the game’s Medicines, as well as in Cement and Saddle/Plantation production.

This is one of those materials that you’ll acquire slowly over time by defeating or capturing Water-type Pals, but it’s best to have a Ranch producing them instead.
To produce Pal Fluids at a Ranch, ask a Kelpsea.

Cotton Candy
You can choose to eat Cotton Candy if you’d like, but it’s better used as an ingredient in items like a Revival Potion or higher-quality Medicine.

Place a Woolipop in your Ranch to obtain Cotton Candy in bulk.

High Quality Cloth
We’ve already noted that Wool is a vital part of the armor-crafting process through its use in the Cloth recipe. However, higher level armors demand higher level Cloth — High Quality Cloth, to be precise.

While you can always craft High Quality Cloth to create armors like the Pal Metal Armor, it’s more efficient to produce the item in a Ranch.
A Sibelyx is the perfect Cloth production Pal.

Gold Coins
Gold Coins have one purpose: to be spent. These are the game’s currency, and you collect them to spend at the Wandering Merchants while on your adventures.

If you’d rather produce Gold Coins than collect them, place a Mau, a Mau Cryst, or a Vixy in your Ranch.

Now that you know how to produce resources at a Ranch, it’s time to explore and find the right Pals for whatever Ranch drops you’re looking for. While you can always go it alone, of course, everything is better with friends! Why not try Ranch building with you and your best buddies?
