I decided to go out on a limb today and daringly install the Gutenberg editor for WordPress plugin that will soon be replacing the classic editor in WordPress 5.0.
There is a lot of discussion amongst the WordPress community questioning the move, some stating that it’s a mistake for WordPress to include it in its core.
A big concern with many, including myself, is that it would break a lot of plugins and themes that are widely used for WordPress.

Whew not as bad as I thought, but definitely some issues that need to be addressed, especially before going into the core of WordPress.
One thing I didn’t note in the video, was that it seemed to have frozen up my browser, and I had to restart my session to get it back responding.
Since this is certainly a major step (forward or backward) both Bhagwad and myself are going to be publishing much more content about it in the coming weeks.
