Super Hero Customer Service

Poor customer service plagues the web hosting industry.

Go spend a few hours on Web Hosting Talk and you can read horror stories about how some web hosting companies treat their customers.

I feel like a lot of web hosting companies put the “hook” in their customers the relationship stops with them trying to provide customer service.

I look at my Dad as an example.

Several years ago, before NameHero, he spent several weeks with his WordPress developer getting his website live on a well-known web host.

At first, customer service was great, the site was online, and things seemed to be proper.

As the years went by, they ended up discontinuing their ticket desk, increasing their prices, his website was plagued with downtime (which cost him business), and when he was able to get ahold of an agent, they were not the least bit helpful.

Don’t take my word for it though, go search for some of the well-know hosting brands on Glassdoor and read what some employees say about working for these organizations!  They explain better than I can in a blog post!

With all that said, my goal with NameHero is to take a different approach.

Being a webmaster since 1998 I know how important it is to have good customer service in all areas.

One day I may need help making a decision on what hosting package to order.  The next day I may wonder why my WordPress website is running into issues.
