2019 has been an exciting year in the Web Hosting industry with cPanel changing their licensing structure from server to account based.
This sudden and unexpected change (with hardly any advanced notice) has been a large burden on not only NameHero but our customers.
I've personally worked around the clock to minimize the impact on our customers and to also provide additional options!
As we head into 2020 we're proud to announce a new partnership with the InterWorx control panel on all our VPS Hosting and Cloud Dedicated packages free of charge.
InterWorx is very similar to cPanel and provides a per-server license model, meaning you can create unlimited accounts.

All new VPS hosting and Cloud Dedicated packages deployed include InterWorx as the default option, however cPanel is STILL available, you just have to select the appropriate license tier depending on how many accounts you need.
Despite cPanel showing little mercy to large providers such as NameHero, we've still heavily discounted the cost of these licenses to minimize the impact on your business.
For the last 20 years I've used cPanel but this now provides a new opportunity for additional control panels to expand into the market.
Our partnership with InterWorx is exceptionally exciting as we have an extremely close relationship with the development team who we're closely working with adding new features and tweaking specifically to NameHero.
It's important to note we are NOT converting existing cPanel accounts to InterWorx, but instead providing an alternative option for customers that wish to avoid additional licensing costs. Additionally, this announcement only concerns our VPS Hosting and Cloud Dedicated packages.
