What Are You Doing To Market Your Reseller Hosting Business?

By Ryan Gray on July 14, 2018 2

What Are You Doing To Market Your Reseller Hosting Business?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:

Getting your first 100 customers is the hardest.

Once you get those, the next 100 come a lot easier, before you know it you get to 500, then 1,000, then you grow from there.

But what are you going to do to get the first 100?

What about just your first customer ever?

Despite the web hosting industry been crowded with competition, there are still plenty of customers to go around.

But you have to specialize in something specific.

You can’t just say you want to target people with WordPress websites because it’s too specific and there are too many large companies with tremendous budgets going against you.

Throughout my Reseller Hosting 101 training as well as content on the blog and YouTube, I discuss many ways to helping you discover your niche.

But once you find that, how do you begin pushing out the message?

We all know Facebook has tons of traffic but how do you go about reaching your audience?

Have you created a Facebook group targeted around your niche where you offer tips and tricks to help them?

Have you written any blog posts on your website where you provide helpful and useful content to your audience?

If yes, how many?  Are you consistent?

What about YouTube?  Do you have any tutorials filmed?

If yes, how many?  Are you consistent?

Today, I filmed a different type of YouTube video.

I want to have a quick discussion about your marketing and provide you some helpful advice.

You can watch my talk here:

So now I ask again, What Are You Doing For Your Marketing?

Hit me up with your questions and let me know the challenges you face.

In the coming weeks/months ahead I’ll be posting some of your answers as well as some advice to help you achieve your goal of getting your first 100 customers!

    Ryan,
Thanks so much for your hard work in helping resellers!

Do you think a “small business web hosting” niche is a good niche? Am I limiting myself to potentially higher paying customers?

Nope, that’s a great one! I would start local and expand from there!
