I have both been blogging a lot about how much of the future in affiliate marketing lies in the mobile space. Given the area is so new, competition is rather low, and multiple opportunities exist for very lucrative monetization options. One option that I want to discuss today is promoting offers on tablets (ie: iPads)…
Two ways I recommend: create your own offer with lead generation arbitrage OR run an existing offer and get paid based on a certain CPA (cost per action). Ultimately this depends on your work ethic and how much time you can devote to a given campaign. Let’s take a look at an offer I found on a network so I can explain further. This offer is for Contractors.com and pays around $5 for every successful lead generated:
I took this screenshot from my iPad. Notice how the landing page is very simple and to proceed to the second step you only need to select a project and enter a zip code. Following that information:
Notice how the page focuses purely on data submission and leaves out a lot of large images/text that may confuse people or make it hard to use in the WAP environment.
This next page continues the “Conversion Funnel” as it requires a bit more information about the particular project to better qualify the lead. This provides the advertiser (in this case Contractors.com) higher quality leads.
Following successful submission of this page the conversion pixel is fire (and you make $5). This particular advertiser even touts “no scrub.” Now obviously if you were going to generate leads to this offer you would have to be fairly targeted.
Now that you’ve seen a WAP optimized offer are you starting to realize what you could do with lead generation arbitrage? The advertiser above is fairly intense with all the data, but they also are selling the leads on the back-end. Taking the same concept you could place a name and email submit on the first page and then kick them to an offer wall of WAP optimized offers or a single WAP optimized offer. You could then followup your monetization with an automatic email sequence.
They key to being successful with lead generation arbitrage is finding cheap traffic and monetizing accordingly. Just with this example above, I can think of 5-6 spinoffs for successful campaigns. Also, consider the post I wrote last month about how to create a WAP optimized mobile landing page. There is a TON of money to be made here and those that want to get creative with this could potential knock down profits that would sustain a solid business for many years to come.

Ryan,
I'm just getting use to the forum, there's a lot of info here… I just started doing mobile offers on jumptap.com. Right now my offers are mostly dating, email & pin submit. Is there a tool that can help me? I saw on the forum that you were promoting one for Facebook. Once again thanks for taking the time to help.
