Having a popular fan page on Facebook can provide a very steady stream of traffic for your business. Given the social media interaction, you’re able to receive feedback in real time as well as allow content to be easily shared. Ruck and I built this very blog on the power of social networking. We’ve yet to spend $1 in advertising and are already reaching over 1,000 unique visitors a day and were able to sell out our Community within just a couple of days.
Obviously the first step here is to get you fan page setup. Assuming you already have a Facebook account you just navigate to the Create a Page link and select the category of your page. The rest of the setup process is fairly self explanatory just be sure to read of the Facebook Pages Terms.
Now here’s where the creativity comes into play. If you have a website (such as this one) with a lot of your own unique content and you’re trying to build and grow a brand you can simply enter the information in about your website, invite some of your friends, and begin natural growth. It works, as I’ve not only grown IMGrind’s page organically but also for my pro wrestling website. Now I want you lead generation arbitragers to listen up here… Facebook fan pages can provide you will an excellent avenue to promote your own offer. No I’m not talking about spamming or anything black hat, I’m simply talking about creating a fan page that interests the demographics of your offer and funneling the traffic down through your conversion funnel.
Rather than creating your page for RANDOM OFFER NAME why not do something like “I Hate My Job.” How many people say that every day? If someone sees their friend “like” a page that says “I Hate My Job” how many others do you think will click it? I can tell you a lot because I’ve seen it firsthand… Now immediately if you start posting links to your conversion funnel you’re going to get a lot of hate. Rather than doing that focus on building up a solid group of “likes” and include fun, interactive components such as the new polling feature. Have people get interested and enjoy your page.
Once you start to garner several thousand connects you can then include the link to your funnel in one or two of your status updates. You want to watch though and be really careful to not become “over intrusive.” Don’t SPAM other user’s news feed, but provide them with solid content throughout the week and every once in a while link out to your funnel. By doing this you can garner hundreds (if not thousands) of leads all for free. Suggest your new page to your friends (since it’s a general interest and not a sales pitch) you’re likely to notice instant growth. As with anything else, creativity wins. Some people are doing big things with this – will you?

Just the topic I've been thinking about. I've had a pretty successful one and just posted a picture.
