How To Setup Google Apps (Gmail) @YourDomain.com

How To Setup Google Apps (Gmail) @YourDomain.com

Many of our clients here at NameHero choose to have Gmail serve the mail on their domains through Google Apps for Small Business.  There are many benefits including their solid SPAM filters, cross device compatibility, automatic contact syncing and much more.  Google also allows users to set a CNAME so employees can access their mail using a simple URL such as mail.yourdomain.com.

The only unfortunate thing is Google started charging ~$5/month per user, where it used to be free [they do have a 30-day fully functional free trial].  Anyway, if you’re trying to collaborate with your team efficiently, it’s well worth it especially since you can also use Google Drive to manage documents.

To setup Google Apps with your domains registered at Name Hero is very simple.  We recorded a short video to show you the steps you need to take:

If you have any questions or need help setting up Google Apps on your domain, please feel free to let us know.  We look forward to serving you!
