Have you branched out into pay per call yet? If not – why? I’ve heard countless stories of affiliates earning $XXX,XXX per month in PROFIT all from pay per call campaigns. As with any “traditional” affiliate campaign out there, you have a number of different traffic sources to choose from when running a campaign. Obviously one of the mediums out there that is currently performing well is mobile. With mobile advertising on the rise its been compared to the “wild west” as clicks are cheap and the number of affiliates actively promoting are low. Cheap clicks = $$$
Most pay per call offers pay upwards of $10+ for >=2 minutes on the line. Also, since you can place phone numbers in mobile Google Adwords ads as well as Microsoft adCenter ads, you’re able to drive conversions rather quickly. Now one of the biggest hurdles to overcome is tracking down offers that will convert AND accept mobile traffic. Let’s take a look at Commission Junction’s top ten EPC pay per call offers:
Now before you jump out of your seat they consider EPC for these offers “average earnings per 100 calls over the last 7 days.” Still though, that should equal you some really nice ROI. Now going through this list many of the top ones do not accept mobile traffic but opportunity lies in the ones that do.
Mobile optimized search engine PPC platforms such as Adwords/adCenter are your best bet with these campaigns as people are actively searching for a particular service. While clicks on AdMob are crazy cheap you are going to run into a lot of “accidental” clicks and un-targeted traffic. Also remember what I mentioned above, that you can include the phone number to the offer in your mobile ads.
Thinking very logically here, what do you “Google” on your phone? Lets say you are walking around your house one day and the wifey starts talking about “adding on.” It’s likely you would pull out your mobile phone and search “contractors in CITY.” Crafty pay per call marketers will place advertisements on these terms where they will have an offer such as Service Magic. Now unfortunately the Service Magic offer on CJ isn’t currently accepting mobile traffic, but I think you can begin to picture where I’m going with this. People searching on their mobile device are mainly looking for two things: 1) a service 2) in their local area. Now combine this with what Ruck and I have taught about lead generation arbitrage. Tons of money to be made.
As we continue to expand on our pay per call content in the Community I suggest many of you elite Internet Marketers out there start exploring this area as the amount of opportunities that lies ahead are very exciting.
