I hope this finds you having an excellent start to May!
It's hard to believe the summer months are just a couple weeks away; but I'm looking forward to some extra time spent outside and with my family!
June, July, and August are typically "slower" months for the entire web hosting industry as a lot of people have the same idea as me! This is when I do a lot of planning for our "busy season" which starts in the fall.
If you're a reseller with us, I hope you'll take these months to focus on developing your business and spend the summer months working on signing new clients. If you haven't already, I highly recommend using this time to go through my Reseller Hosting 101 course and my VPS Hosting 101 course. Both of them will help you gain a lot of leverage in your web hosting business.
Why 2018 Is The Best Year For Your Hosting Business
Aside from my free courses, I published some other helpful articles for our Resellers on our blog that explain why I think 2018 is the best year to be a reseller as well as how much ROI you can expect.

How Our Backups Work At NameHero
It seems like we've been getting some confusion recently about how our backups at NameHero work.
I've seen this multiple times on the phone, through live chat, and via our help desk.
To help clear things up, I've published a blog post and filmed a video tutorial that explains EXACTLY how our backups work, how you can access them, and how you can gain access to multiple restore points:
NameHero Backup Explanation: How Our Nightly Backups Work, Retention, More
The worst thing you can do is wait until you need a backup to get this setup correctly.
Regardless the hosting package you have with us, do an audit today of your backups, and take appropriate action. When in doubt, just remember, you can never have to many backups!
Saying Goodbye To SquirrelMail
cPanel gave a bittersweet announcement last month; they're depreciating SquirrelMail by the end of the year.
For those unfamiliar, SquirrelMail is a webmail client that's been packaged with cPanel for over a decade.
It's always been my "go to" when I needed quick and easy access to my email accounts.
As they make this transition, they're accepting recommendations for replacements, so make sure you read my post on those details!
How To Setup G Suite Email At NameHero
With SquirrelMail ending, some of our customers are making the jump over to G Suite.
Personally, I love GMail and use it for many of my personal domains.
We make the setup and integration super quick here at NameHero, so I've written a tutorial along with a video of how to set it up in about 10 minutes.
Solutions To Common Problems
Did you know that I use our support tickets, live chats, and phone calls to get ideas for my blog posts and YouTube tutorials?
Almost every problem that I see repeating, I put the solution out there to help save you time from having to contact support.
If you haven't already, I HIGHLY suggest subscribing to our YouTube channel. This is the first place all of my content goes, so you'll be notified instantly!

The Biggest Compliment Is A Referral!
Something amazing happens when you get to do what you love for a career; and that's how I feel about NameHero.
There is something so freeing about working for passion vs. working for money.
I feel privileged and blessed being able to wakeup each day and service our customers here at NameHero and help provide a high quality web hosting infrastructure.
If you enjoy our services here, the biggest compliment we can receive is a referral of a friend or family member!
Make sure to check out our affiliate program as you can actually get paid up to $125 per sale you send us!
With all that said, thank you so much for your support, it truly is a pleasure serving you all.
If I can ever do anything to make your experience, please feel free to let me know!
To YOUR Success,
Ryan
