I’m proud to announce that all of our Web Hosting and Reseller Hosting packages can now be deployed in our Netherlands datacenter!
As you’ll notice in the above image there is now a toggle below our Web Hosting (and Reseller) packages that allow you to switch from our default United States locations. Simply click “NL Datacenter” and the appropriate packages will display.

This has been one of our most requested features as NameHero’s customer base grows globally.
While we’ve always prided ourselves in high speed cloud web hosting, some of our customers in the EU have been asking for servers that are closer to their physical location.
All of these packages come with the same standard features that we’re known for such as free LiteSpeed web server, solid state drives protected by raid 10, Cloudflare w/Railgun, etc.
How To Move Your Existing Services
If you’re an existing NameHero customer and looking to move your existing services, you’ll need to first login to your account and deploy the new package. Once it’s online, you can request a free migration to be completed from our team within 24-48 hours (most of the time much sooner).
Once the migration has been completed, we’ll add a credit to your account if you have any un-used time on your existing package. This can be applied to your renewal or any future product/service including domains.
Please remember, this will require you to change your nameservers and if you’re a Reseller, your customers will have to do the same. Our migrations team will be happy to provide step-by-step guidance on this.

Personally I don’t look at these type of tests as the “holy grail” but it should give you at least an idea what you’re looking at depending on the speeds of your Internet Service Provider. You can split-test against our US locations as well.

Does this work for improving landing-pages speed in europe/asia/south_africa?
The simple answer to this is, yes. But then again it depends on many factors such as usage of a CDN/caching/etc.
When I used to work in affiliate marketing I would always deploy my landing pages on servers closest to the visitors, but also would tweak the CDN, caching, DNS lookups, etc.
I would look at it as additional piece of optimization vs. a single solution!
